SHOUTOKU contains all the pride of its 360-years history.
Founded in 1645 in central Kyoto, Japan's capital between 794 to 1868,
it was transferred to Kyoto's Fushimi district, famous for its underground
spring "Fushimizu" in 1925. |

Under our slogan "Original sake must only
be made from pure rice," SHOUTOKU Company has developed its sake's everlasting
special taste.
SHOUTOKU is a sophisticated handmade sake brewed according to the Japanese
traditional method called "Junmai-Ginjo". Special attention is paid to
three factors: Use of 100% Japanese rice, pure Water, and the
Japanese traditional method of brewing. This process strictly prohibits the use
of any additives, other types of alcohol, or sugar. |
